If you’re spending your next camping season in Texas and you’re curious about the campsites that are golf cart-friendly, probably because you’re camping with your family or want to move around comfortably, you’re at the right place.

The great escapes is a campsite that is worth every moment spent there; whether you’re having fun at the water park or enjoying the spacious tent sites, comfortable cabins, and other exciting amenities. 

The RV site is also equipped to accommodate pull-thru and back-in RV camping with every site featuring cable and full hookups. The hookup features are 20/30/50-Amp Electric, Water Hookup, and Sewer Hookup

Free Wi-Fi is also available throughout the Pet-Friendly campground

Golf carts are allowed on this campground, but you must be 18 and above, and also possess a valid driver’s license to drive a golf cart.

Campers need to sign the Golf Cart Liability Waiver before renting carts, and all golf carts must be kept on the Great Escapes RV Resort property roads at all times.

The cabins can accommodate up to 12 people, and it has all the features you would need, including a queen-size bed in the bedroom, a loft with 4 queen size beds, a full-size air mattress, a fully-furnished kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, etc, and a full bathroom

Cabins are also equipped with satellite TV, a heater/AC, a porch with table and chairs, a picnic table, and a fire pit.

The pool and other features of the waterpark are always available for guests to cool off, especially in the heat of the summer. 

Golf carts are available for rent on the campground, and they come in different sizes and styles with rental fees starting at $109 daily.

Golf carts can only be booked upon arrival. However, you can bring your own golf cart if you can meet these Terms & Conditions.

Sun outdoors campground is situated in New Braunfels, Texas Hill County, and is the perfect destination for family-friendly camping and other activities. 

This RV resort has over 250 RV sites, over 100 vacation rentals, and a long list of fun activities and amenities for everyone to enjoy. 

Campers can choose between standard, premium, and cozy RV hookup sites with different levels of features and amenities; all delivering nothing short of the best comfort.

The back-in sites are spacious and have a very long concrete pad and patio area to accommodate RVs reaching 60 feet with sufficient room for slide-outs.

The two swimming pools are available for every camper, as well as a spa and sauna. You can also visit the game room where you can play billiards or cards, or have fun on the playground with your kids.

All campers have access to additional amenities like WiFi and cable services, as well as a picnic table for relaxation and dining. 

The campground is golf cart-friendly. However, guests need to follow a list of rules to rent a cart on the property. Golf cart owners must also ensure that only people 16 years and above and have a driver’s license get to operate the golf cart.

Most RV campsites offer full hookups, including Water, electric, and sewer hook-ups with 20/30/50 amp electricity, a picnic table, a campfire rig, free WiFi, and satellite TV.

Tent campsites have 20 amp electricity, a fire pit, Low-level lighting, a picnic table, and free Wi-Fi.

Beautiful and spacious 2-room cottages are also available, ranging from those that accommodate 4 campers to 6 campers, and even 8. Some cottages are fully furnished and some others are partially furnished, depending on your budget and preference. 

You can come along with your golf cart, but the carts must have proof of insurance and must be registered upon arrival. You need to be 21 years and above and have a driver’s license to use the cart within the compound.

Stillwater resort is family-friendly and has a lot of activities for campers, including water activities, such as the Saltwater lazy river, Adult pool swim-up bar, Two heated Salt water pools, and Poolside cabanas.

There’s also a full-service café, a Coffee bar, a game room, a Fitness center, and a store on the campground.

Stillwater Resort has 170 RV Camp Sites with Full Hook-ups as well as 10 RVs for rent with access to all the amenities available at the resort.

The resort also has a camp house with 5 bedrooms and 2.5 for rent, especially for families and people camping in large groups.

The only golf carts allowed on the campground are electric ones. 

6. Wind Point Park

Wind point RV campsite is comprised of 24 full hookup waterfront RV sites created to suit all RV sizes, with all sites sized at 50/30/20 meters and equipped with a grill, fire pit, and picnic table.

Each RV site has a length ranging between 85 and 110 inches, with a 35-inch backyard.

The park has several fully shaded full hookup interior sites in central locations.

You will find a convenience store where you can buy RV supplies, camping supplies, games for kids and adults, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, ice, etc.

If you want to fish, you can get fishing supplies. You can also fill your Propane bottle or get an exchange.

As far as recreation goes, there are baseball, basketball, and volleyball pitches, a swimming area, a 300-foot fishing pier, a boat ramp, a playground, and biking trails.

Golf carts are allowed on this campground, provided the drivers have a license. Carts must be registered before entering the parks and must be used with a tag when being driven around the park.
